Wolfgang Tillmans is my hero. I actually love him quite desperately. He is far and away the most interesting photographer out there at the moment (in my humble opinion). All of his work is so different and interesting. I went to see his exhibition at the Serpentine about half a dozen times when I first moved to London and I saw something different in it every time I went. Sometimes I see someone's whole body of work and wish it were mine, wish that I had done it. If I were a designer of books it would be David Pearson, if I were an Illustrator I'd want to be Marcel Cowling etc etc. If I were a photographer I'd want to be Tillmans, and not just because he has the coolest first name I've ever heard.
